Spencer Hu

胡宏，本名胡世沛，生於四川雙流，畢業於台灣東海大學，赴美專攻半導體。在美國東北大學獲博士學位，以設計IC為業。1990年創速波公司，研發網路產品；2002年任東北大學客座。

由於參加大波士頓區中華文化協會（簡稱文協）的各項文藝活動，產生對小說創作的興趣。1988年與文協好友創辦藝文小集，先後發表多篇作品刊載於文協通訊、波士頓新聞等刊物。為慶祝文協成立五十週年，作者撰寫劇本燦爛的星光並輔助演出。著作有：《長篇小說黑鷹》由台灣黎明出版社發行（2014）。作者彙集二十年來行及八國十四地的游記、小說、新詩納入《悠遊》一書出版（2014）。

Spencer was born in Sichuan, China, educated in Taiwan, and earned PhD at Northeastern University, Boston, USA. He worked as an IC designer and later became an Adjunct Professor at his alma mater.

He devoted in writing when started to serve GBCCA (Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Assoc.) in literature activities. His first book was named Black Eagle. It was about a spy plane pilot which was well received in Taiwan. His second book Leisurely was about his tours of 14 landscapes in 8 countries. Both were released in 2014.
