Barbara Ruth (a.k.a. Robin) Robbins brings several lifetimes of experience to her writing.
She has worked as dishwasher, cashier, newspaper delivery person, various retail positions, magazine editor for two different publications, computer programmer, systems analyst and IT project manager, Realtor®, property manager, legislative assistant, webmaster, and assistant to executives in the non-profit and academic worlds.
Authors who have significantly influenced her stories and prose poems include Audre Lorde, Sandra Cisneros, Toni Cade Bambara, and Leslea' Newman.
Ms. Robbins has been writing poetry and short stories for over thirty years. 'Nam in L.A. is her first book of fiction.
Currently the author lives in the mountains of North Georgia, and travels extensively as time permits.
