Jane Lowry

Jane Lowry is the author of Why-Entist and the Wild Weather, a positive story introducing climate change and clean energy technology to budding scientists aged 6-adult.

As a mother of two, Jane knows the importance of motivating children to want to learn more STEM/STEAM material. She believes that it’s never too early to introduce and familiarize young minds with new vocabulary and ideas in a friendly story.

Jane works with engineers and scientists who do R&D on renewable energy technology (solar, wind, tidal, geothermal, biomass etc.) Jane's work background is international and includes Canada, Japan and the United States. She's an enthusiastic volunteer for the United Way's "Read With Me" program for 3rd graders, and also enjoys walking her rescue dog Jasmine with her husband, playing with Pickles her cat, and writing. Her next Ask-A-Lot series book is due out at Christmas 2019.
