John Hall

John Hall makes his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Originally from the west side of Chicago, he grew up in the Austin neighborhood. Hall witnessed two worlds as a young teen. One world consisted of mostly white classmates and friends from the Oak Park, River Forest area in Illinois. That world provided experiences and opportunities he never could have imagined.

The other world took place on the block he grew up on. He saw poverty, gang violence, guns, drugs, police brutality, teen pregnancy, people who earned lifetime prison sentences, and friends from the neighborhood shot and killed from the time he was 5 years old.

Professionally, John Hall works in Wealth Management at the largest investment bank. Hall founded Wealth Legion in 2019 with the the mission of delivering financial education and personal development to the communities and individuals who need it most.

John Hall previously sat on the advisory board of Your Passion 1st, a podcast based mentoring & coaching platform focused on inspiring young adults to overcome adversity, as they find, define, and follow their passion. Your Passion 1st primarily works with individuals from economically disadvantaged communities.

His upcoming book, Financial Empowerment is a personal finance system teaching step-by-step techniques to help everyone succeed. John Hall enjoys spending time with family and close friends, working out, painting, and traveling to new places.
