S. J. Vaughan

Sarah is a mother of three, a qualified primary school teacher (who does not teach in a school), a home educator, a holistic therapist, certified life coach, and a writer. She is also the founder of The Do Try This at Home School.

Her unique experiences from all sides of the UK education system, combined with 25 years' experience of supporting children and families in a wide range of roles and settings, inspired Sarah to write her 4th book, Is Home Education the Right Choice for Our Family? It is a a guide to support families in their decision making process.

In terms of children’s literature, Sarah has always written stories for her own children, and following the positive responses she gained from her other work, she saw an opportunity to turn her creations into stories for other children to enjoy. Her stories are full of fun and humour and she always endeavours to tell tales that children will truly love.

Sarah has worked hard, teaching herself to illustrate and self-publish her work.
