JoAnne Silver Jones

At age 73 i was recognized with the Ben Franklin Independent Book Publishers award for Best New Non-Fiction Voice of 2019. After a full career as an educator, living with a traumatic brain injury from a violent assault, being a single parent and now married to my wife of 27 years, I entered the world of writing and writers. I have embraced this new calling and it has embraced me back. I love writing and reading; walking and running; cities and the ocean; my friends from all parts of my life, my family and my dog Koufax (2012-2020).
