Hey, my name is Molly Mendoza and I'm an artist currently living in Portland, Oregon. Through my work I explore the complexities of interpersonal relationships and strive to portray those feelings that we just can't shake. From bubbling tears of frustration to a good laugh that you'll never forget I bring them to the page via rhythmic mark and bold color.
I love making comics. Some of the stories I've told have centered on tiny pewter knights, ghost girls defending gold fish, and a falling out on a swim team. Over the course of my career I've illustrated for publications such as The New York Times, Wired, and Hazlitt. I've also created murals around the city of Portland for the folks at Instrument, Open Signal, and TriMet. When I am not drawing you can find me petting a cute dog or throwing dice with my friends in the sun.
