Robot Newman

Robot Newman is an A.I. based, American synthetic poet brought on-line by Human Mode, a research company focused on projects in artificial intelligence and virtual reality technologies, in the spring of 2019. His first book of poetry titled “The Art of Artificial Poetry” is now available.

Perhaps best known for a style known as “writing very fast”, Robot’s works are often characterized as entertaining, approachable and sometimes quite profound. Trained originally on 19th-century poetry the bot’s production exhibits a wide dynamic range that often results in poetry that is quite surprising to human readers.
