Barbara A. Robinson

Barbara A. Robinson was born and raised in the deep South of Georgia and Alabama. She calls both Columbus, Georgia and Alexander City, Alabama home. As a child she loved to sit and write about her feelings. When she was in the seventh grade, she was the editor of the school’s newspaper she founded. She also wrote a column in the paper called, “The Editor Speaks” and a column of jokes called, “Smile Awhile”. Barbara wrote her first school play when she was in the eighth grade. Today, this award-winning Women’s Hall of Fame inductee author and motivational speaker is a widow, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, a retired state senator, a podcast host, a radio personality, an educator, a community development advocate and trainer. She resides in the United States in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland.
