John F. Nau

John F. Nau, PhD. (1910-2001) was a minister of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, in Pascagoula, Mississippi (1937-1940), New Orleans, Louisiana (1940-1948), and Columbia, South Carolina (1948-1952) and a Professor of Philosophy and Religion and Chaplain at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi (1952-1977). Throughout his lifetime, he was an energetic and engaging teacher and preacher. On frequent speaking tours, he discovered that his father, Dr. Henry Nau, was something of a legend in the church and mission field. So remarkable was his father's story, and so amazing the influence he had on innumerable lives, that John determined to share that story with others.
