Susan Stedman

I started writing when I was 6 years old because I was unhappy with my life. I invented worlds to escape to where everything worked out the way I wanted. I guess I became addicted.

During the intervening years, I have huge collections of stories, poems, one silly screenplay, and several novels. I didn't try publishing because I wrote for myself, but when I wrote this first book about Ireland, my friends and family wouldn't let up. I was only going to make it one, but they wanted more. Two and three came out together and I planned to stop there on a cliffhanger but when my daughter nearly had a panic attack wanting to know what happened next, I wrote the fourth.

Now I have numbers five & six because I believe that my writing is a gift for God and I should be using it as such. I am happiest with these.

That has been my dream since I was that 6 year old girl.
