Jason Dagley

Jason Dagley was born and raised in Indiana, where he now lives with his two sons. He was inspired to create Carl is a Car by his late father. His fondest memory of him was when his dad took him to a Cincinnati Reds game as a young boy.

Jason wrote Carl to be fun for kids. The real message, if any, is that everything will work out in the end. The belief that children learn best when they are happy and at play is what drove him to make Carl colorful and exciting. Carl’s relationship with Emily is special, and they share many adventures together. Jason hopes that kids everywhere will enjoy Carl is a Car for many years to come.
