What does it mean to be human? How do we connect with each other? What is the nature of love? Of redemption? These are all questions I explore in my novels. In "Something About Kate," for instance, I look at the power of redemptive love, how two people can heal each other just by being who they are. ln "Oooops: An Accidental Abduction," I take a look into the dynamic between a man and a woman. One one hand a man who sees a woman as an object and on the other a man who sees a woman as a person. "Adrift" explores how two determined people can help bring justice while forming a lasting bond. "Missing Maria" is the story of triumph over tragedy, and bureaucracy. These boooks grew out of my life-long fascination with the human condition. After I ended a four-year enlistment in the Navy, I went to college and became a journalist. For 41 years I was able to watch how people treated other and their communities while also working to help people undertand the world they were in. I have carried that fascination and love into writing novels that explore the human soul.
