Ms Leena Batchelor

Worcestershire Poet Laureate 20-21, Poet-in-Residence @ The Commander, Worcester, and spoken word artist based in Worcester, a poetic minstrel with living in her veins. Leena started writing poetry as a teenager, as a release for emotions and as a pathway to happiness and healing. Talks have included a set on "The Chain of Words", exploring how words can hug the world as an antidote to the vitriolic rhetoric that is pervading our society.

Her motto is a quote from Oscar Wilde - "To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist. That is all"
