Joe Clapson

Joe Clapson lives in London with his wife, their two daughters and one son. He began writing as DaddyShortLegs in 2016 while on Shared Parental Leave with his first baby. He wanted to document the everyday reality of what parents deal with, from exploding nappies to pressure-washing dried Weetabix from a baby's face, and becoming a ninja to escape a sleeping child's bedroom. Joe is an award-winning journalist, with a background in breaking news, Defence and current affairs However for the last few years the battleground has been less Afghanistan and more domestic operations focused on nappies, feeding and nap times.
