Can a retired Health Inspector produce novels that are entertaining, wholesome and wanting the reader to have more books from this guy? Well it sure seems so, by my reviews. But enough of that.

After writing countless reports for 30 years on injuries, sicknesses and routine inspections for the Health Department, it was like a breath of fresh air to write my novels about an enchanting seaside village of Maine with the lives of its precious residents. Once I started, I soon "fell in love" with these fictitious people.

Is that odd? Let me tell you, I would love to visit Port James, (setting of my books), walk the gas lit streets and embrace each character. Some are funny, some need help, some are adventuresome but all are" wrap your hands around them with a hug and a kiss on the cheek"...maybe more than once...don't bother holding back the warm tears.

In real life, I have visited coastal Maine and swam in its cold, cold, cold water...while on over 16 different vacations. Alright, it takes me over an hour to get fully submerged, but it is worth it. Maybe I have salt water in my veins.

Hey! Now that I am a little older, give me a picnic bench with a view of any one of Maine's majestic lighthouses and a steamed lobster on a white and red checkered paper plate and I am as close to heaven as can be.

So take this special ride to enchantment and pick up one or both of my books, "Klem Watercrest the Lighthouse Keeper," and/or "Seaside Journeys of Faith." That special place and those characters are waiting for you. Remember, you too are precious and you deserve this read.
