After Retirement, I got involved with several animal charity organizations. I've also written petitions to the government regarding a change to the wording of our criminal laws. Where ever there is the phrase "child abuse", include the phrase "and/or domestic animal abuse".

I believe when humans bring an animal into their possession, they have the innate responsibility to care for and protect this pet as they would their own child.

One day I sat and thought about what else could I do to increase the public awareness of domestic animal abuse in our country. Then it came to me. I'll write a screenplay. " SHADOW " was born.

Still hoping this venture will lead into a movie production, I converted 'SHADOW' into a book. Since then, I added the second installment of a series with 'SHADOW 2.0.'

As of November 2022, I've published the third and last book of the series... 'M.E. and MY SHADOW.'
