Shawn Tracy Robinson

Shawn Robinson is a retired U.S. Marine, former CH-53E helicopter pilot, airline captain, husband, father, and independent author with a passion for creating books that make learning fun.

After spending more than two decades in aviation and military service, Shawn turned his attention to another longtime goal: building books that children and families can enjoy together. His work combines colorful illustrations, interesting facts, practical lessons, and a sense of adventure designed to encourage curiosity about the world.

Shawn is the creator of the City ABC series, beginning with P is for Pittsburgh, which introduces young readers to the people, places, history, traditions, and character that make each American city unique. He is also the author of M is for Money: The A-to-Z Journey to True Wealth, an illustrated introduction to money, responsibility, and the idea that true wealth is about more than what is in your bank account.

Through Three Dogs Publishing, Shawn hopes to create a growing library of books that children will enjoy reading—and parents will feel good about putting on their shelves.

He lives near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania with his family and believes some of the best learning begins with a simple question: “Why?”
