Bridie Macdonald

Bridie Macdonald is a Los Angeles–based creative director, designer, and photographer who came back to writing personal essays and fiction after years of shaping language, image, and story for others. After joining the 20-Minute Stories writing group, she began writing fiction and essays that focus on the extraordinary experience of living, even and perhaps especially in simple moments. She balances her design and photography practice with new writing projects. Beyond the studio, she leads full moon singing hikes in the Hollywood Hills and spends as much time in nature as she can.
