L. M. Brigant

My name is L.M. Brigant. I'm a British-born Canadian, and I have worked in the legal industry most of my life. An avid bookworm, I prefer fantasy and sometimes science fiction. While I respect meaty, important kinds of books that delve into deep issues, I'll be honest: I don't find them relaxing. After a long day, I want a book I can relax with!

I've lived in or near Toronto ever since we moved to Canada when I was 8, so Witch Hunt is situated mostly in Toronto (and a little bit out west - if I moved elsewhere in Canada it would definitely be where there are mountains).

Having written bits and pieces of stories, and fanfic for years, I finally decided I had to get my act together and actually write an entire story from start to finish. It's a lot harder than it seems when you can read a book in three days. I don't even want to admit how long ago I started writing Witch Hunt! It has gone through many, many revisions, and hopefully is all the better for it.

I really like my characters and thinking about ways in which their lives might change, perhaps as significantly as Natalie's did in Witch Hunt. I think Mikyla deserves the top spot in the next one!
