Nan Mogar

Nan Mogar has devoted many years of study to a wide variety of musical instruments and various genres of Western and World music. Starting at an early age, her mother, a classical vocalist and violinist, nurtured her in a musical environment. Nan has experienced her own frustrations while navigating the complex arrangements of notes and intervals on the guitar.

As such, for the last two years, Nan has been working on a comprehensive, non-traditional interval and chord training method for the guitar. This method covers all aspects of guitar theory from building intervals to the construction of complex jazz voicings. Using this method, those skills and more can be mastered in a short period of time without the need for rote memorization.

Nan has also developed a supplemental, first-of-its-kind desktop and mobile application titled Guitar Intervals Unleashed based on her method of training detailed in this book. She is currently working on a follow up book on chords, scales, modes, and arpeggios using her unique method, as well as an accompanying desktop/mobile application.
