Chris Allaun

Chris Allaun has been studying and practicing paganism and witchcraft for over 30 years. He is the author of several books spanning witchcraft, spirit working, and pagan theology. His spirit worker books include A Guide of Spirits, Underworld, Otherworld, and Upperworld. His books on Witchcraft include The Black Book of Johnathan Knotbristle and Whispers from the Coven. In January 2027, Chris will release The Queer Spirit Worker. This book will include years of experience working with spirits, as well as Queer pagan spirituality.

He is an ordained minister and one of the founders of the Queer pagan tradition, The Fellowship of the Phoenix. In this tradition, Chris is the lead minister of the Chicago Temple, where he creates and leads rituals, offers pastoral counseling, and teaches this tradition to new members. He is also an initiate of Traditional Witchcraft and the OTO, which has given him years of experience working with the gods, ancestors, nature spirits, planetary spirits, and many other esoteric subjects. Over the years, Chris has studied magick, folklore, energy healing, spiritual counseling and support, spirit working, and Hermetic Qabala.

Chris received his Master of Divinity from the Chicago Theological Seminary in 2023 and is currently working as a clinical chaplain. He teaches classes on witchcraft, spirit working, necromancy, and energy healing.
