Lisa Goodson

Lisa Howerton Goodson is an educator and a writer of children’s books. She was born in South Boston, Virginia and raised in Long Island, New York with her older brother, sister, and parents. Through out her childhood she loved writing. She continues to share her gift of writing with children of all ages even with her own three children: Jermaine, Alana, and Taylor. Her children’s books revolve around themes such as friendship, perseverance, family, and educational topics. Her stories for older children revolve around similar themes but also explore deeper issues such as self esteem, sibling rivalry, and overcoming hardships.
