Neil Robert Davey

Neil Robert Davey was born in 1986 in Valparaiso, Indiana. Raised along the shoreline of Lake Michigan, he has traveled the Hoosier state working in cemeteries, restaurants, and breweries. A lover of philosophy, poetry, and wit.

His first book, "Soft Moon's Glow," is a short poetic tale inspired by his wife's severe illness, exploring the power of love, grief, fear, and dreams.

He has also published a collection of children's stories called, "A Foxy Tail", that teaches the importance of environmental sustainability, inner happiness, perseverance, and being silly.

"I Won't Be Long", his third publication, is a poetic collection exploring themes of love, loss, injury, cats, childhood memories, and humorous musings.

"Meditations on Love" is a collection of haiku threads that explore the hidden forces of connection, love related to cultural ideals, everlasting love, intimacy, and how we perceive love growing up.

"The King of Cups, the Lovers, and Death" is Davey's fifth poetic publication. A three year exploration of loss, finding new love, and transformation.
