‘Monsters are real, and ghosts are real too. They live inside us, and sometimes, they win…’ - Stephen King
Joe Black was born in New York City and grew up on the tough streets of The Bronx. He gained an Associates in Film Production from the Art Institute of New York City and now works as a project manager for a construction company. He still lives in the Bronx today, drawing much of his inspiration from women, his mother and brother.
Aside from his day job, Joe has been a writer of short horror fiction for many years, being an avid fan of Tales from the Crypt and Creep Show.
His numerous titles are available through Amazon and include the chilling No Survivors, and anthologies called Strange and Unusual and Graveyard Tales. Joe’s readership spiraled on social media from just a handful of hard-core fans to over 25,000 and his aim is to steadily increase that to 100,000 readers of his work.
In his spare time Joe loves most sports, reading non-fiction books, listening to music and watching films, with the horror genre among his favorites. He has been competitive all his life and is continually striving to improve and excel at whatever he does, attending his local gym several times a week. He is also a fan of Scotch Whisky and when he has the opportunity he likes to travel, having set a goal to visit every state in the US.
As far as the future is concerned, Joe is content to continue writing short, chilling, paranoia inducing content for both books and movies for as long as he can avoid his own demise.
