Nelly Thomas

Nelly Thomas (1974 - still alive) is an Australian comedian who grew up in a house with no books. Born to Australian working-class parents, she was the first in her family to go to university - she stayed for almost a decade and then became a comedian. This was not what her family thought would happen. Nelly is the author of three children's books, one adult book and has grown two humans of her own. All her work aims for progressive, social change so stuff gets better.
