Michael Rider is a talented and respected sales and marketing leader whose distinguished career working for turnaround and high-growth organizations has led him to be sought-after for his valuable insights about what works when stakes are high. He has extensive expertise in client needs analysis with a consultative approach to sales in cutting-edge tech, insurance, and benefits-design industries. Michael is the founder of Rider Risk Management Services, LLC, where he works with the C-suite, helping them to realign their operations to their mission and vision by focusing on people, technology and benefits to reduce costs, drive engagement, streamline processes and increase ROI.

Michael is committed to being an attuned listener, persuasive presenter, worthy collaborator and negotiator, and passionate connector. He prides himself on being able to forge solid relationships with strategic partners, build consensus across multiple organizational levels, and drive improved outcomes utilizing people, strategy, KPIs and budgets.

Michael is passionate about giving back to people, the community and businesses through championing mentoring, being a megaphone and embracing the spirit of servant leadership. He is the 2019 Chair of Sponsor Fundraising for the Louisville Society for Human Resource Management (LSHRM). Michael studied business at Western Kentucky University and Clark College, and currently lives and works in Louisville, Kentucky. This is his first book.
