Marsha A. Malcolm

M. A. MALCOLM bears the distinction of having won awards for both writing and reading. Two years after her debut novel, "His Last Hope: A Contemporary Christian Romance," was named the 2016 Christian Indie Romance Book of the Year, she won the title of 2018 National Reading Champion of Jamaica in the Adults 21 & Over category. She’s serious about books!

When she released "His Last Hope" in 2015, she fully expected it to be ‘one and done.’ She had no intention of writing another book; however, readers demanded more, and "His Last Resort" followed in 2017. She is thrilled to announce that after a lengthy delay, "His Last Chance" will finally become available in 2022.

In 2016, she also became a children’s book author with the publication of "So very… Max!"—a modern-day response to Hans Christian Andersen’s "The Ugly Duckling."

Having previously worked as a college professor, she currently offers freelance editing, administrative, and self-publishing consultancy services. With a passion for enhancing the work of Christian writers, she is certified in copyediting. Over the years, she has worked with many local and international authors to improve and independently publish their work. Her proudest professional moment was when her then nine-year-old son became a published author in 2021.

Ms. Malcolm has been a part of Faith in Christ Ministries in Westmoreland, Jamaica, since 2005. She divides her time among her son and extended family; work and writing projects; dogs; to-be-read list, and catching up on much-needed sleep.

A woman of God, Marsha believes she is called to encourage other believers and help them to be who God created them to be. She gets more ideas than she could execute in a single lifetime, which contributes to her lack of sleep. As a result of all this, Marsha has an intimate relationship with coffee.
