Josh Gates

Artist Josh Gates has previously been signed to Universal Republic Records for his first single “Look Back At It”, worked with YMCMB, and most recently worked independently with Kevin Gates on “WYND” and “Talk A Lil Shit”. All Josh’s independent albums include Battling Myself, 24:15, and Open The Gates can be found on Spotify, iTunes, and all other digital music outlets. During 2010 and 2011, Josh’s acting career landed him roles in films played on HBO, Starz, Fox, and Lifetime which can be credited in the movies Carjacked, The Mortician, and Blood Out.

In 2014, Josh was incarcerated in Louisiana and is currently finishing out his sentence. At the beginning of Josh’s incarceration, he was forced to slow down from his fast lifestyle and with a sober mind he was able to reflect; writing his first true life movie script. Imagine the life of a young artist and actor, drug dealer and addict, lover and father describing events, opportunity, and what it is like growing up in the industry. Soon after, Josh started writing the first novel to his book series “Died Doin’ Dirty Work”. This book series expresses Josh’s true talent and will leave his readers eager to read the next book. Each story is packed with action, relatable characters, and takes a deeper look into the lives of those who live through hard times.
