Writing helped me to heal my life and it's something I've done ever since I was a child. I'd write endless moody poems and diaries full of angst and drama, and that's where my love of writing really began. I didn't really realise back then that it was helping me to deal with, and process, unpleasant emotion, but it was. Writing is an incredibly powerful therapeutic tool.

I came back to writing as a form of personal development while I was training as a counsellor - word counts were never an issue to me, the words always flowed! And in 2018 after the death of my absent father, the urge to write returned with a vengeance and the words started pouring out into what became my first 'proper' book, 'Release Your Grief'. Basically since then, the writing just hasn't stopped. My Books focus on self-love and self-development because I know only too well what it's like to be stuck in a cycle of self-criticism and self-sabotage - it sucks. I want to help as many women as I can step out of those debilitating cycles and enjoy their lives instead.

I'm a self-confessed 'soul searcher' and I'm definitely 'just a little bit woo woo'. I love all things crystals, oracle cards, spiritual, weird and wonderful, but I'm not ending every sentence with 'love and light' just yet or going out naked howling at the moon - who knows what the I future holds though! I never say never!

I love my sleep, and could fall asleep on a washing line, but I could equally stay up all night talking about why we are here, what is the soul, and do ghosts and angels really exist. Those sorts of conversations are some of my favourites.

I adore the highlands of Scotland and hope to settle there one day within walking distance of a beautiful white sandy beach.

When I'm not working, writing or dreaming of Scotland you'll find me pottering about in my allotment, painting my nails or drinking cocktails.
