Rita R. Kalyani

Rita R. Kalyani, MD, MHS, is a professor of medicine and a diabetes specialist at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is a past chair of the American Diabetes Association’s clinical guidelines committee which establishes the standards of medical care for all people with diabetes. A graduate of Harvard College, she completed all of her medical training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and is board certified in endocrinology and metabolism.
