John W Fort, MST, was born in Texas but moved to Oregon as a small boy. He lived in São Paulo, Brazil for two years after college then went on to teach biology & chemistry at the secondary level for nine years. His finished his first book, “The Other Side of Black Rock” in 2008, adding to it and republishing it in 2017 as the trilogy, “The Forbidden Scrolls.” He moved into adult education and eventually leader training; equipping community leaders to assist families coming out of brokenness.

He is a regular blogger on parenting issues at CovenantEyes.com and ProtectYoungMinds.org and speaks nationally on parenting related issues.

John loves the outdoors, especially hiking and fishing, which he does often with family and friends. He loves cars and classic rock, though his favorite album is the esoteric synth-project: “Time,” by Electric Light Orchestra.
