Inger Stapleton

Inger Stapleton LOVES finding ways to make learning a second language easy and lasting! The goal is not just to learn vocabulary but to learn it in context and in memorable ways so that you don't forget it when you need to speak with a native speaker!

Inger is a NY-based Realtor. She received her bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Manhattanville College and an MBA in 2011 from Hult International Business School, where she studied in London and San Francisco.

Inger's passionate about finding ways to learn foreign languages despite busy lifestyles by infusing language learning into regular daily experiences. Her passion for language learning has spilled over into her parenting. Her multilingual children's books were written to expose her son to different languages.

Inger's book, "Try this! Learn Spanish using Music for Nurses" was inspired by her family as well. Her mom and sister are both busy nurses who have often said that they want to learn Spanish for work. In 2012 Inger made two trips to Mexico to explore the culture, develop her ability to speak in Spanish and visit friends from business school. This book captures tips on her learning journey.

"A Mother's Prayer" was inspired by wanting to keep her children covered in prayer. It's a great night-time book read that also keeps a covering over our kids.

Her first job after college was at Essence Magazine. In her book, 'More than Majors,' she shares her ‘ideas for making careers,’ based on the success she had in her own life.

Inger lives with her husband and children in New York.
