Kellye Davis - aka (Thunder).. is a passionate wellness influencer. Her approach is informed by her extensive training in yoga and meditation. She also credits many of her ideals to her Native American- Oglala Sioux heritage.
Her passion for wellness and self-development was nurtured at an early age by her family who were health practitioners.
A Speech Communications major at Northeastern University in Boston, Kellye found ways to combine an interest in the spiritual, desire to heal others, and inherent talent in communications, which ultimately lead to a uniquely fulfilling career path.
In addition to her formal education, she has studied yoga and meditation for more than two decades. She has trained at the Integral Yoga Institute in San Francisco and has been certified in Hatha Yoga, Dhyana Yoga, Pranayama Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. She also studied yoga in India.
Balancing an immersion in the practices of meditation, reiki, and restorative yoga with her experience as a writer, publisher, speaker and CEO, Kellye is truly a dynamo. Her life’s mission is about helping others go beyond managing day-to-day stress and open themselves to an experience of bliss.
She lays the groundwork for her stress-relieving philosophy in her first book, The Bliss Principle. Published in 2009, the book offers practical methods to reduce stress by tapping into one’s innate peaceful power.
Since its publication, Kellye has been quoted or featured in Essence, Woman’s Day, Woman’s First, Woman’s First, Spa Magazine and Pelham Living. She wrote a popular regular column in the Daily News. Appearances on the Discovery Network and NBC’s Weekend Morning Show soon followed.
Kellye runs successful workshops. retreats and virtual global classes based on her books and signature classes on stress-reduction. As a workplace wellness leader on stress she's worked with companies that include: Bayer, Fuji Film, Mastercard, Snapple Beverages, Berkeley College, Oxford Health Plans, and Capital Health Systems.
Her latest upcoming book is due to be released in 2025. Her newest book chronicles her journey, by offering readers useful insights that will help them remove blocks caused by stress, grief and loss and ultimately achieve a joyous life.
