Joe Fugate

Joe Fugate along with Gary Thomas founded Digest Group Publications (DGP) in 1986 as a business to write material for Marc Miller's Traveller science-fiction role playing game published by Game Designers' Workshop. Joe and Gary wrote Book 8: Robots (1986) for Traveller. In 1993, Joe Fugate announced in MegaTraveller Journal #4 that DGP was leaving Traveller behind.

Joe has also been an avid model railroader since his youth, and he changed his focus to his other passion: model trains.

In July 2008, Joe Fugate started Model Railroad Hobbyist magazine ISSN 2152-7423 and an associated website https://mrhmag.com to go with the magazine. Model Railroad Hobbyist magazine since 2011 has been a monthly publication running over 100 pages per issue.

Joe Fugate now regularly authors in-depth model railroading videos and books, several of which are available on Amazon.
