Latisha Leah Prescott is a first time author who grew up writing from a young child in her home town of San Juan, Trinidad as the last in a family of six children. She continued writing creative stories all the way into her teenage years capturing many of her life experiences on paper much to the delight of her readers. The love of English Language was her hidden passion and unable to shake off the desire to write, she eventually pursued academic qualification in Journalism and Mass Communications graduating in the top four of her class in 2013. During that time, she managed to have published four articles for a local parenting magazine, “Caribbean Parenting”, another cultural article for the in-house magazine of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, a full page article for a leading daily local newspaper “Newsday”, two published letters to the editor for “Newsday” and one letter of the day for the “Trinidad Express” between the years 2009 to 2014. Now residing in Cocorite, Trinidad and married for over twenty years with three children, Latisha has decided it’s time to achieve God’s purpose for life by publishing her first book and eagerly looking forward to writing many more, including childrens books. She also has a passion for teaching and desires to have a writing program for children one day, particularly males who are in need of expressing themselves.
