Jack Singer

While working as a writer-producer in Los Angeles, Jack Singer had the good fortune to collaborate with his friend and mentor Capt. Peter Huchthausen on several projects, including adaptations of his novels Echoes of the Mekong and October Fury. As a Naval intelligence officer in Moscow, Peter became a leading expert on the Russian submarine program and his contagious fascination with the subject was the inspiration for the story behind ICE. After Peter's untimely death, Jack Singer decided to write an original submarine thriller in the hope of paying some small tribute to a real-life American hero and a very fine writer.
