Born in the City of Houston, Texas but raised in the wheatfields of Pullman, Washington, vp wright carries a cross-country perspective that only they can communicate. After graduating with a B.A. in Comparative Ethnic Studies, wright began sharing their poetry via their Instagram account to help realign their identity, after getting married, giving birth and entering parenthood. vp wright self-published their first chapbook "you are enough" in May 2019, and is currently finishing their first full collection "experiences and encounters."
