Sharyn Skeeter

"Dancing with Langston" (Green Writers Press) is the gold winner in the 2019 Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Awards in Multicultural Adult Fiction.

Sharyn Skeeter was fiction/poetry/book review editor at Essence and editor in chief at Black Elegance magazine. She’s taught at colleges, universities, and conferences. She participated in panel discussions and readings at universities in India and Singapore. Sharyn Skeeter has published magazine articles, poetry, and fiction. She lives in Seattle where she’s on the boards of Hugo House and Earth Creative, and is a former trustee at ACT Theatre.
