Sherry Scott

Sherry Scott, MD has practiced pediatric general and palliative care as well as adult general medicine. Her newest book is PLAYHOUSES: Sexuality and Fundamentalism, 2022, published by Black Rose Writing, as is her memoir The People of 19th Street, 2018. She self-published her first book, The Year My Mother Died, 2011. She founded Paris Poets Society and published a juried anthology of poetry and photography: What Brings You Here, 2016. She is current Vice-President on the board of Gendercide Awareness Project, a non-profit founded in Dallas, Texas. She resides with her family in Paris, Texas.
