Robin Lovelace

Robin Lovelace is a Professor of Transport Data Science Leeds Institute for Transport Studies (ITS) and Leeds Institute for Data Analytics (LIDA). He has over a decade of experience using, teaching and developing geographic methods for a range of applications. He has published three books on the statistical programming language R, and dozens of papers applying new methods to policy-relevant problems. The application of new approaches to inform evidence-based decision making for sustainability is a theme that runs through his research, with high impact outputs that have informed national and regional policy.
