Dan J White

My name is Dan J White and I live in the Deep East Texas woods. Out in the sticks as some might say. I actually got started in this crazy world of book writing by editing and publishing a book on Amazon for a friend. Then I thought... That was fun (not Really). So I decided to see if I could write something that someone would actually enjoy reading. The jury is still out on that, but hell I'm having fun so there's that.

In February of 2019 I attempted a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. I only made it to Fontana Dam, about a hundred and sixty miles, but I learned a lot about myself and what I was and was not capable of.

I also made a few hiking journals for myself and whomever else might be into that.
