Mz Tink

Tink was born and raised in Richmond, VA. She graduated from John Marshall High School in June 2006 and went on to attend North Carolina A&T to study Criminal Justice. In 2008 she gave birth to her first born and decided to stay in Richmond, attending ITT Tech she completed her Associates of Applied Science in Criminal Justice in 2011. After graduating she stepped into the Criminal Justice Field as a Security Officer. Writing has been a part of her life since the young age of 14. She would write poetry as a release. Reading has been a big part of who she is as well, ranging from reading 3 to 10 books a week. Reading helped her a lot when she was diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppuratia (HS) in 2014. Having to undergo 5 surgeries, being unable to work/move around. Reading became her solitude. In 2018 she gave birth to Part 2 of her M&M’s and was able to get a handle on her HS. While being a fulltime mom of 2, full time worker, and volunteering as an active participant in every league that her son plays in. She decided to join forces with her Sister/Cousin Jocelyn Cole and create a master piece. In her spare time, she loves to hang out with family, friends, read, laugh and enjoy a juicy Kindle novel. She aspires to write not only urban fictions packed with comedy but also to share with the world her poetry that has helped mold her into the woman she is today. She charges her readers to be the best they can be and to follow all your dreams no matter what you may think is impossible!
