Martin Barber

Meet Martin Barber, a man with a goal; work hard, retire early. Born in 1966 in Redhill Surrey, brought up in Wakefield Yorkshire and then moved to Essex, he’s no stranger to travel. After a successful career in the construction industry as well as building several companies, his—and his lovely wife’s—hard work finally paid off. They retired and live between Austria and Spain, traveling as often as time permits in search of adventure and excitement.

Now that his three sons have grown into strong young men any father would be proud of, Martin has more time and he fills the time between adventures with writing. Inspired by his travels, he hopes to capture each spectacular event and record them for future generations to enjoy. He’s motivated to share his stories with the world in hopes of inspiring, helping, or encouraging others to live their lives to the fullest.
