Bernard K. Finnigan

Bernard Finnigan decided in the 6th grade he might want to be a novelist, and then spent the next three decades doing anything but. After earning his Bachelors in Secondary Physics and Mathematics from the University of Idaho, he's worked as a burger flipper, substitute teacher, nuclear worker, and Ambassador to the World at Disneyland. After trying his hand as a Hollywood special effects make-up artist in the 1990s, he returned to Idaho to be a science teacher. Since finally becoming an author, he now travels the country to sign books in any time zone that will accept him while continuing to slave away each night on the next Great American Novel. In his 'free' time he uploads science movies to youtube, got to walk the Rose Parade with George Lucas, and has enough homemade sci fi/fantasy/horror props in his basement to outfit a modest Hollywood studio production.
