Gregory L Madison

Gregory L. Madison was born in June of 1961 and hails from the city of Cleveland, Ohio. His formal education of 14 years is exceeded by self-education. While raised by Christian parents, Madison professed Christ at the age of nineteen. In his late twenties, Gregory Madison had drifted so far away from his faith in Christ that he began a 23- year intermittent addiction to crack cocaine. In 1997, Madison was led to begin studying and writing on Biblical solutions to addictions. This led to the first draft of Turning to God from Idols and the start of The Fear of the Almighty. In 2018, after seven years of sobriety, Gregory Madison published Turning to God from Idols. Madison began publishing various pages on Facebook in 2015 from which was born his series Bible Verses Addictions. The Fear of the Almighty began as an outline around 1987. Later, Madison began to see the relevance of reverencing God as it relates to addictions. The first draft was both completed and lost in 2000. It was not until 2012 that Madison began the next writing of The Fear of the Almighty. The Fear of the Almighty was published on May 6, 2019. Gregory L. Madison is the founder of Awe of My Life Publications where “it’s all about the awe.”
