Dr. Mike Garrett, PhD, LCMHC is a distinguished counselor, teacher, professor and former pastor in Raleigh, NC. He and his wife Rhonda Garrett, MA, LCMHC serve as Executive Directors of Christian Counseling & Coaching Associates Raleigh. Their most recent work is "21 BEST-EVER RELATIONSHIP SKILLS OF MASTER MARRIAGES," both a book and video series by the same name. The title says it all! After decades of marriage and counseling experience, this dynamic duo teamed up to produce this masterpiece marriage manual to help couples, counselors, and pastors worldwide. Their previous popular work, LOVE NEEDS, is a highly acclaimed evidence-based approach to understanding what "better" really looks like for each partner in a relationship. Dr. Mike and Rhonda have authored numerous curricula and marriage and family programs, many of which are available on video from their website. Dr. Mike was formerly the Teaching/Counseling Pastor at Crossroads Fellowship Church, a 10,000 member congregation in Raleigh, NC. He has served as faculty chairman for the counseling department of Shepherds Seminary. Together, Dr. Mike and Rhonda spent many years speaking at conferences, nationally and internationally, as teaching faculty with Walk Thru The Bible Ministries, Atlanta. Dr. Mike is also a Vietnam Veteran and the nephew of singer songwriter Johnny Cash.
