Hugh James

Hugh James was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1951. He completed a doctoral degree in Sociology at the University of British Columbia in 1983 and has, since that time, travelled extensively in Europe and Asia, living for longer periods in Denmark, France, and the UK. He has worked for different software houses and for the government in both the UK and the US. Hugh has presented courses for the Apollo University since its inception in 1999, and in 2004 published Plato’s Life and Work for the university’s press. He lives with his wife, Tamara, in the foothills of Northern California.
