Alvaro Cubero

Alvaro Cubero (1969) was born in San José, Costa Rica. Being a dreamer and very imaginative since he was very young, he participated in a short story contest in the category of 8-to-10-year-old kids, winning the second prize.

Having written a lot of uncompiled works: comics, short stories, personal diaries, and poems, he decided at 49, to start formally writing an epic fantasy saga called Chronicles of Koiné. The saga currently has 3 out of 7 books expected in total and is available in Spanish and English.

Alvaro has also published a poetry book in the genre romantic - erotic entitled Perdóname, Te Amo, as well as a novel based on actual facts, in the homoerotic genre, entitled Fugaz amor eterno, a short stories book entitled Ruleta rusa, and a second poetry book in the genre mundane - erotic - irreverent entitled Amores imposibles.

He's currently planning the second trilogy of the saga, as well as devising three spin-offs about characters in the world of Koiné that his readers have acclaimed for some years now.

His passion for reading anything that falls into his hands has enriched the content and quality of his prose, which has been qualified as: profusely descriptive, transporting, and impeccable, to offer stories that have been assessed as: fascinating, complex, beautiful, captivating, and dynamic.
