Steve Sulkin is a retired marine biology professor who directed marine labs on Chesapeake Bay and the Puget Sound basin. He published more than 50 scientific papers and served as an editor for an international scientific journal. That said, his experience in scientific writing has no relevance to his book the "Life and Times of a Left-Handed Tweener". Scientific writing is not funny, at least not on purpose. Many of the life experiences included in the "Life and Times of a Left-Handed Tweener" were serious and challenging at the time they occurred, but time and nostalgia have enveloped them in a patina of hazy good nature and, occasionally, irony. Rather than develop a bucket list, Steve decided it would be more fun to include some of his pet peeves. He hopes that his readers can relate to and enjoy the contents of his sort-of-a-memoir.
In addition to writing, Steve's other creative endeavors include landscape and seascape painting and a large model railroad, photos of which have appeared in hobby journals.
